Daily Performance Review
Here is a sample.
What is this?
Each day Nat records her calls during the trading session as they are made — the time, direction, and entry and exit price. At the end of the session she summarizes the outcome of each call and posts the results in the Daily Performance Review.
In practice Nat's method uses multiple contracts, and often scales in and out of positions. A typical call in her room gives an entry level — or levels — a stop loss, and usually two or three exit targets, with instructions to cover a portion of the position as each target is reached.
The Daily Review doesn't attempt to accurately capture all of that information. Instead each call is summarized in the Daily Review as the number of points that would have been realized by a single trade for one contract from the first price named to the last price reached.
This is only an approximation of the activity in the room each day, and the Daily Review can't be interpreted as any kind of "track record" of Nat's calls. For example, it under-estimates both the gains on successful calls and the losses on unsuccessful calls.
The Review is a method of summarizing Nat's calls in a way that allows members to compare her calls to their own trades. It is an educational tool. It is not intended to measure the success of Nat's calls and it can't be used for that purpose. See this item in the FAQs for additional information. In fact Nat trades her own calls profitably in her personal account. But the Daily Review is not a record of those trades. She does not post her personal trades.
Nat's calls are remarkably accurate and members use them to guide their own trades. But Nat doesn't tell members how to trade. She allows them to monitor her calls and explains her methods so members can learn to apply her techniques for themselves.
Most members focus on Nat's scalping calls, because they form the bulk of the activity in her room. But the Daily Review also captures the position calls and trading method calls Nat posts each day.
Current Reviews (like current Trading Plans) are only available to members. However you can see past Reviews and Daily Trading Plans going back to 2005 in our Archive.
You can also see an Excel spreadsheet that summarizes current reviews. Similar summaries for previous years are available from the Archive.
