On-line seminars

Nat's occasional on-line seminars on day trading always attract a lot of attention. Most seminars are offered at a fee, essentially to ensure that participants have more than a casual interest in the subject. They are primarily a service to members; on very rare occasions non-members are allowed to attend with special permission.

Enrolment limited to approximately 25 attendees to allow lots of opportunity for Q&A's. Seminars are scheduled to last 3 hours, usually on Saturday morning, but they invariably run overtime to allow all the questions to be answered.

The seminars are delivered live-voice via Paltalk, with visual material at www.naturus.glance.net. Seminar print material is distributed to attendees in advance, so they can print a hard copy and use it to make notes as the seminar progresses.

In addition to paid seminars which deal with advanced trading methods, Nat sometimes offers free introductory seminars for new members.

Recent seminars have dealt with Murrey Math, with the relationship of time, price and pattern in day-trading, and with trading plays in the opening hour of trading. Seminars are usually sold out and some have had to be repeated twice.

You can see details of the content for the Time, Price, Pattern seminar here, and participant evaluations here.

Nat has given an extensive three-hour workshop on her trading methods at the Trending 123.com trading conference in Las Vegas. She is also an occasional speaker at the Canadian Society for Technical Analysis at their meetings in Toronto.

Members who traveled to Las Vegas for the last workshop were wildly enthusiastic. Those who didn't are asking to have it repeated on-line, because the workshop covered most of the essential elements of successful trading...

    1. Psychology of traders

    2. Basic Mechanics of the markets

    3. Daily trading plan

    4. Daily market preparation

    5. Indicators and how to read them

    6. Money management

Many members are also asking for more seminars on different topics. Some want regular seminars every month or every two weeks.

Nat is thinking it over. Preparing the seminars is time-consuming and distracts from preparation for daily trading. And she is already extremely busy and the seminars are a significant drain on her energy.

On the other hand, members find them very useful. The idea is still under consideration.
